I was born Catholic and raised a die-hard Catholic. When I was in college (Far Eastern
University, Philippines) I met a believer who was my older brothers classmate. He
often preached the gospel to my brother, and whenever he invited him to his meeting
my brother always told me to go with this believer. He gave me a small pamphlet entitled
The Mystery of Human Life. This booklet speaks about the three parts of man, the spirit,
soul and body. This transformed my life. I never realized that I had a spirit that
can communicate directly to God, and that I dont really need to go somewhere else
to worship my God. I didnt realize that He was so available to me. The Bible says
that the Lord became a life-giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45b) and that He is the
source of life. Wow! I didnt realize that without Him as my life I was just a dead
person in His eyes. Praise the Lord He gave me life! When I called His name, Lord
Jesus, I was instantly saved. I thank the Lord for the clarity of this gospel tract.
It brought me to the truth and set me free from my dead concepts.
